Agrichain Management
This research line aims to generate and disseminate knowledge that allows for improvements in management processes specially adapted to the problem of management economics and the agri-industrial production system supply chain. The object of study in this line of research is adaptation and development of competitiveness management tools and methodologies in various segments of industrial and agro-industrial systems, supply chains, and company networks, ranging from the production of inputs, goods, and services for industrial production to the storage, transportation, processing and distribution of products and/or services derived from them. Research topics include supply chain management, agribusiness marketing, adopting and diffusing technological innovations, agro-industrial systems management and economics, governance and public policies and economics of institutions and organisations.
