Planning and Control of Production Systems
This research line aims to generate and disseminate knowledge related to the various aspects of planning and controlling operations within companies and their supply chains. This research line's main research topics are production planning and control, supply chain management, lean management approaches, operational research, industry 4.0, and sustainability in operations management. Problems are studied using various research approaches such as surveys, case studies, multicriteria modeling methods, action research, design science research, quantitative and computational methods, and dynamic modeling.
