Support to Charities

Some research carried out at the Graduate Program in Industrial Engineering has generated a direct or indirect impact for charities. Check out some of these examples:

Donation to the Hospital de Amor de Barretos and the American Cancer Society (USA)

The thesis “Lean & Six Sigma initiatives in the food industry” developed by Luana Bonomé Message Costa used a multi-method approach. One of the methods used in the research was a survey. In this type of research, strategies can be used that maximise the rate of return on questionnaires. In the survey carried out by Luana, it was emphasised that for each questionnaire answered correctly, a donation would be given to the Hospital de Amor de Barretos-SP and the American Cancer Society in the USA.
