When are the courses offered?
The courses on the Graduate Program in Industrial Engineering are taught in the morning or afternoon from Monday to Friday.

When is the Administration Office open?
The Administration Office is open to the public from Monday to Friday from 8am – 12pm (noon) and 2pm – 5pm.

What is the ProPGWeb system?
It is the Academic System ( in which student's personal information can be found.  The Program will use it for enrollment and issuing documents (school reports and enrollment declarations). ProPGWeb also renews enrollments using this system (which the student must do every semester).

How to enroll and re-enroll?
Enrollment and renewing Graduate Program students´ enrollment are done using the ProPGWeb Academic System ( The student must click on “enroll” (efetuar matricula, in portuguese) and select the activities and courses they are going to do in the coming semester. ProPGWeb should be used in mozilla and google chrome browsers.

How do I request the UFSCar student card?
To request the student card, the following steps must be followed:

  1. Go to (external link).
  2. Select Stricto Sensu Postgraduate Studies.
  3. Enter the username and password, which is the same for ProPGWeb.
  4. Follow the instructions.

If the information is followed correctly (check if the 3x4 photo was sent taken against a plain light-coloured background), the request will be approved and the card will be sent to the PPGPEP Administration. If something is incorrect, an email will be sent to the student stating what the problem is. The student must make the relevant changes.

How many and which courses should I take?

Do I have to pay for the course?
No. Graduate Program in Industrial Engineering is an academic program. The courses offered (master's and doctorate) are free and you can also apply for scholarships.
